Amanda Radke, editor of BEEF magazine’s BEEF Daily, joined Nebraska Farm Bureau annual convention attendees for a breakout workshop entitled, “Promoting Agriculture Through Social Media”. Radke encouraged a room-full of members to make it R.A.R.E. – relevant, articulate, reliable and enabling.
Radke says, “Perception is reality. Don’t get defensive. Be that credible source. About 95 percent of people want to feel good about what they eat and they like farmers and ranchers. Build on that trust and tell your positive story via social media. Just find your passion.”
Radke continues to share her 5th generation ranching story with followers on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, and her new children’s book, Levi’s Lost Calf. Listen to more in my interview with Amanda here.
