Young Farmers and Ranchers are Optimistic about the Future

The results are in from the latest survey of participants in the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Farmers & Ranchers program, and Shelly Thompson, chair of the Nebraska Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee from Dawes County, says it’s an even split among a few issues when it comes to the challenges young people in ag face today.

Shelly says there are some things young farmers believe they can do to impact the future of ag and overcome these hurdles.

And overall Shelly says the future for farming is a bright one, and young people in ag today recognize the importance of social media to their bottom line.
